Lieutenant George CLEMENT
Born Georges Spiridonoff, 25 October 2017 in Petrograd (now Saint Petersburg), Clement was originally of Russian nationality and Russian parents, Paul Spiridonoff and his wife Nadejda Nadine Spiridonoff. His father was from a military family, a Spiridonoff had gained distinction in the Russo-Japanese war and by 1918 Captain Paul Spiridonoff was a member of the St George’s Cross Cavaliers, a White Russian organisation.
