Flight Lieutenant Jack Charles Stanmore AGAZARIAN
Jack Agazarian was born in Stanmore, Middlesex (north London) on 27 August 1915, the son of an Armenian immigrant, Berdj Rupen Agazarian (originally Aghazarian) who had fled Armenia due to the persecution there and had arrived in Britain some four years previously. Berdj Agazarian had married a Frenchwoman studying in London, Jacqueline Marie-Louise Le Chevalier.
