Captain Henri Paul SEVENET


Henri Sevenet was born shortly after the start of the First World War, on 3 November 1914 in Chédigny (37), some 35 kilometres south-east of Tours in the Indre et Loire département of France. In June of the following year his father, Louis, was killed in the fighting in north-east France and with the advent of the Second World War, both Louis’ widow, Marthe Dauprat-Sevenet, and his son were determined to combat the invader.
